Chief Nurse Administrator (CNA) Siena University is seeking applicants for a Chief Nurse Administrator (CNA). This position provides effective leadership to the Baldwin Nursing Programs at Siena University in achieving its mission, goals, and expected program outcomes. The CNA is responsible for academic and administrative functions of the programs including curricular coordination, assessment, partnerships with educational and clinical partners, resource management, and recruitment support. This position serves as the official liaison between the University and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and ensures programs remain aligned with CCNE Standards for Accreditation, AACN Essentials, and the New York State Education Department's professional requirements. Main Responsibilities Provide strategic vision for a young and growing department looking to add new programs. Provide administrative leadership on matters of budget, supervision of professional staff, partnership agreements, and resource allocation. Act as Siena's liaison to CCNE, partner schools, and regional and national professional nursing organizations. Lead efforts related to accreditation, annual reporting, and assessment processes. In collaboration with the Dean and/or the Chair, provide leadership and mentorship to faculty on matters of management and development of curriculum, faculty development and evaluation, and hiring and supervision of full‑time and adjunct faculty. Work with students on matters of academic standards and progression, complaints, degree completion and partner school experience. Support efforts related recruitment, marketing, and enrollment of nursing students. Requirements A doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited program and institution A current unencumbered RN license with the ability to become a licensed nurse in the state of New York Record of faculty achievement commensurate with appointment to the rank of Associate Professor Demonstrated leadership experience as department chair, nursing program administrator, or as a significant contributor to institution‑level committees or initiatives.
