Lot Technician / Detailer — EV Auto (Brentwood, TN)

Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available

The Role

We're hiring Lot Technicians to keep our Brentwood dealership running smoothly. This is an outdoor, physical, hands-on job. You'll be on your feet all day, moving fast, and working hard. It's not glamorous, but it's honest work and the kind of job where you can come in, grind hard, then clock out and be done ... great if you're balancing school or other commitments.

What You'll Do

Detailing (this is a big part of the job)

• Wash, dry, and detail vehicle exteriors — including wheels, tires, and windows
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors — seats, carpets, dashboards, door panels, and consoles
• Wipe down and condition leather and vinyl surfaces
• Clean and polish interior glass and mirrors
• Remove trash, debris, and personal items left in vehicles
• Apply tire shine and dress exterior trim
• Ensure every vehicle looks showroom-ready for customers
• Detailing experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person

Lot Management

• Move and park vehicles throughout the lot to keep inventory organized and accessible
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional-looking lot at all times
• Ensure vehicles are parked properly, locked, and secure
• Help receive and check in new inventory as it arrives
• Fuel, charge, and maintain proper battery levels on EVs
• Install or swap license plates and temporary tags as needed

Dealership Upkeep

• Keep the showroom, offices, and customer areas clean and presentable
• Take out trash, sweep, mop, and handle general cleaning duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the service and detail bays
• Assist with basic landscaping and outdoor upkeep as needed
• Help keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and stocked

Driving and Errands

• Drive vehicles to and from various locations — other lots, service appointments, customer deliveries
• Pick up and deliver parts, paperwork, or other items as needed
• Assist with customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
• Run miscellaneous errands to support the sales and operations teams

General Support

• Jump in wherever needed — no task is beneath anyone here
• Communicate with managers and team members to prioritize tasks
• Follow all safety procedures when operating vehicles and equipment
• Represent EV Auto professionally when interacting with customers or vendors

We're looking for people who show up on time, take pride in their work, and don't disappear when things get busy. You don't need detailing experience — we'll train you — but you do need a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions — heat, cold, rain
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout your shift
• Reliable transportation to get to work
• Must pass a background check
• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for full-time)

Schedule

• Part-Time: Flexible hours, ideal for students. Afternoons, evenings, and weekends available.
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week. Monday–Saturday availability required.
