VIP Workforce is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welders for a metal manufacturer located in Statesville, NC. The role involves working primarily on custom metal work and production line fabrication. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their welding skills in a test during the interview process. This position offers a great schedule, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, from 8am to 4:30pm.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on custom and production line metal projects
• Perform TIG welding according to project specifications
• Participate in metal fabrication tasks
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards
• Adhere to quality inspection procedures

 

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG welding
• Proficiency in TIG welding
• Knowledge of welding safety practices
• Experience with welding inspection
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• High attention to detail
