General Description: As a Public Health Nurse serving Carbon County, you'll be a leader in promoting health, preventing disease, and building stronger communities across Rawlins and the surrounding areas. Public Health Nursing here blends clinical skill with community outreach, making a direct, visible impact on the lives of individuals and families throughout southern Wyoming. In this role, you'll collaborate with residents, schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations to assess health needs, deliver vital services, and connect people to life-saving resources.
What You'll Do: Our Public Health Nurses deliver a wide range of services designed for rural Wyoming communities, administering vaccines, managing infectious diseases, providing maternal and child health services, conducting health education sessions, and supporting public health emergency response efforts.

Knowledge:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience in Nursing with acquired knowledge at the level of an LPN
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming OR Education & Experience Substitution: 3-5 years of progressive work experience Nursing with acquired knowledge at the level of an LPN
