Title: Team Agile Coach Location: Remote Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions Compensation: $35 - 38 an hour Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to work in US Role Overview As an Operational Excellence Consultant, your role will be to assist the coaching leadership transform their coaching community from a traditional Team Agile Coach approach to their new empowered, self‑organizing coaching group approach. The role is to support the training and ongoing implementation of the new coaching way of working as well as to be a support for the coaching group(s) within a specific Portfolio of products. The role requires an independent thinker, who knows software Agile practices in depth, but can also act as a mentor and trainer. You will need to be able to coordinate, via a support approach, and collaborate with the central coaching team. Your communications will be short and to the point, covering the key points and you will be able to report back where the team(s) are in both Operational Excellence (Agile Maturity) but also in the needs of the coaches to upskill and deliver the coaching OKRs. Key Responsibilities Support the transformation in new ways of working Fully understand the end vision of the change in ways of working, quickly Be consistent in its implementation Be a first line of contact and mentor to the coaching community Train coaches in required Agile practices and knowledge Mentor and support their development needs Communicate strengths and opportunities within the coaches back to the central coaching group Assist in the delivery of key strategic goals for 2026 Deliver Agile foundations across all teams in the first half year, measurably Be central in the promotion and effective use of AI in software delivery as a strategic capability for 2026 Be central in diagnosing and solving Product process flow issues Be self‑governing, but communicate effectively to the central coaching group Attend all required sync sessions Be a “trusted advisor” to the Solution Enablement Leads regarding their business coaching needs Always be positive about all aspects of the transformation Follow the process and be consistent in its delivery Be the “go‑to” person that the coaching community trusts What You Bring Ability to assist in the transformation of a coaching way of working that is different in approach from industry standards Deep knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks, with the ability to apply them pragmatically (“know the book, know when to adapt”). 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, including large‑scale Agile transformations in enterprise environments. Strong diagnostic capability with a proven ability to independently identify problems, determine root causes, and develop actionable plans. Demonstrated critical thinking, quick analysis, and sound decision‑making under pressure. Proven experience creating and executing coaching plans that drive measurable improvement. Ability to work autonomously while consulting stakeholders as needed to validate understanding and direction. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex issues in simple, compelling language. Strong organizational skills with a track record of turning insight into execution. Bonus Qualifications Experience leading and influencing large, cross‑functional teams with diverse skills and tenure. Ability to build trust, credibility, and psychological safety across teams and leadership. Confident, assertive presence with the ability to challenge constructively and do what is best for the organization. High‑energy mindset with the ability to inspire action and momentum. Foundational knowledge in Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation, or emerging technologies. Certifications such as SAFe SPC, ICP‑ACC, or ICF‑ACC.
