Details Work in a 24-bed private room inpatient Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit Adult medical patient population Clinician-to-patient ratio of 4–5 patients per RN Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips is essential to daily practice Charts using Epic EMR Day shift with rotating coverage of night shifts as needed (a few shifts per month) Every other weekend (EOW) required Floating required 36 hours per week, 13-week contract Requirements Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — AHA only; Red Cross and other providers are not accepted at this location Minimum 3 years of RN experience required Demonstrated ability to read cardiac telemetry strips Epic EMR experience Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted 2 professional references required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care to adult medical telemetry patients in a newly built, all-private-room unit Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos Parking is not validated at this location; public parking is available nearby at candidate's expense Local candidates (permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston) are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration American Traveler Job ID P-690252.
