Commercial Litigation Attorney

Established (75+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Attorney for Commercial Litigation, Business Disputes, and Complex Civil Matters in Salt Lake City , Utah

 

An established firm based in Salt Lake City with over 75+ years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role involves representing clients in commercial litigation, contract disputes, business torts, real estate litigation, and complex civil matters in state and federal courts while managing matters through all phases of litigation and collaborating with experienced trial teams.

Salary range: $130,000-$170,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active Utah Bar membership in good standing
Four years of experience handling commercial litigation and complex civil matters
Strong background in motion practice, discovery management, and depositions
Experience appearing in state and federal court proceedings
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a team-oriented environment
Strong client service and professional communication skills

 

Responsibilities
Represent clients in commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and substantive legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk assessment and dispute resolution options
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver efficient and effective legal solutions
Manage active caseloads while meeting court deadlines and client expectations
