THE ROLE

The Guest Services Agent (3 day shifts)/Night Auditor (2 overnight shifts) provide our guests with excellent service at the front desk from arrival to departure, and respond to guests needs, requests, and complaints.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Warmly welcome, receive, register, and check in/out guests efficiently.
• Answer all guests questions accurately and resolve problems in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with other hotel departments as needed to maintain a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.
• Balance all department accounts; balance all credit cards to the appropriate PMS system(s)
• Run "end of the day" reports for PMS systems to close out for the day
• Welcome and register guests, and ensure that guests have a seamless registration and departure experience
• Review front desk log at start of shift and record information as needed throughout the shift
• Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Be familiar with the operating procedures of all other areas of the hotel, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with those areas to assure customer satisfaction.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Other guest service duties as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• High school graduate.
• Must have 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Previous guest service experience in a full service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
• Previous computer experience required, previous PMS experience preferred.
• Individuals with passion for customer service and able to work with others seamlessly. This means having no problem collaborating within a diverse team.
• Dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
• Ability to be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
